Day 2

  1. After a delicious breakfast at your hotel begin your day with a guided tour of the Vatican Museums, house of one of the world’s most extensive art collections. A highlight of this tour will be the Sistine Chapel: during the Rome Jubilee 2025, the spiritual significance of this space is amplified, as pilgrims gather to reflect on divine grace. Afterwards, with your guide enter the St Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world. Enter through one of the Holy Doors, which is only open during a Jubilee and symbolizes the passage to redemption and grace.

  2. In the afternoon you will continue your guided tour in another of the papal basilicas of Rome: St Paul’s Basilica, located outside the ancient city walls of Rome. The massive structure and its tranquil surroundings make this basilica an oasis of peace for pilgrims. Explore the interior and you be struck by the vastness and beauty of this church. Then you will also have the chance to explore the nearby church of San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane, a hidden gem which offers a fascinating glimpse into Baroque architecture.

Day 3

  1. During this day you will visit one of the most important papal basilicas of Rome: Saint Mary Major. After visiting the interiors of the basilica with its 5th Century Mosaic and the grand chapel, you will have the chance to live a unique experience: a private concert inside the Basilica. A tenor and pianist will make you enjoy this transcendent atmosphere, where the beauty of sacred music harmonizes with the splendour of one of the most historic basilicas of Rome.

  2. In the afternoon you will go back to your hotel and have some time to relax, before exploring the most important sites of Rome during golden hour on board your bus. This is a magic time, as the city’s monuments, baroque fountains, and Renaissance churches reflect the warm and golden light.

  2. After dinner you will head to the Colosseum where the Via Crucis (=Way of the Cross) takes place. The Good Friday procession led by the Pope at the Colosseum, is an intense and spiritually rich experience. The combination of the historic setting, the prayers and meditations, the presence of the Pope, and the participation of the global faithful makes it one of the most important events of Holy Week. Experienced in person, it offers a deep connection to the Passion of Christ and serves as a moment for reflection on suffering, faith, and hope in the world today

Day 5

  1. During the morning you will visit The Arch Basilica of St John Lateran, which holds a preeminent place among the basilicas of Rome. In fact, it is the oldest of the four major papal basilicas and is known as the “Mother and Head” of all churches in the world. With your guide admire the grand entrance with the majestic facade and as you enter, you are greeted by the immense central nave, with massive statues. Just across the basilica is the Scala Sancta (=the Holy Stairs), the very steps Jesus ascended during his trial before Pontius Pilate.

  2. After lunch, enjoy the visit to the Papal Palace in Castel Gandolfo and you will also have some free time to have a nice stroll.

Day 6
