Amalfi Coast in Three Days
Day One: Transfer from Rome FCO Airport, stop a Montecassino
As you arrive to Rome Fiumicino Airport, you will receive a warm Italian welcome by your English Speaking Driver, waiting for you at the Meeting Column in the Arrival Terminal! In a spacious and elegant Mercedes Benz Sedan or Van, he will be happy to chauffeur you through central Italy to the region of Campania, on your way to the beautiful coast. On your way there, you will stop in Montecassino to begin your Amalfi Coast 3 Day Tour. There, you will visit the famous Abbazia. This Benedictine monastery was founded in 529 by St Benedict of Norcia. This stunning structure is one of Lazio’s best kept gems. After your visit, you will continue on your way to Positano. Check in to your luxurious hotel with a stunning view and enjoy the rest of your night!
Day Two: Pompeii & Amalfi Coast
On your second day of your Amalfi Coast 3 Day Tour, your English Speaking Driver will chauffeur you to the ancient archeological grounds of Pompeii. You will partake in a visit of the site, with the help of a Licensed English Guide if you request so and learn all about the ancient civilizations destroyed by Mount Vesuvius’ eruption. After this enriching experience, you will be chauffeured to a delicious four course lunch on the coast. Indulge in the rich flavors of the Campania regions, before heading to Sorrento. In Sorrento, you will enjoy the breathtaking views and a relaxing stroll or shopping experience among its picturesque streets. Don’t miss the chance to taste its characteristic Limoncello liquor, made from fresh Sorrento lemons! At the end of this day, you will be chauffeured back to your accommodation in Positano.
Day Three: Herculaneum and Vesuvius
The third day of your Amalfi Coast 3 Day Tour will be another historically enriching experience, as you visit Herculaneum and Mount Vesuvius! In the morning, your English Speaking Driver will chauffeur you to Herculaneum: the other, less known town destroyed by the eruption of the Vesuvius. This archeological site is very well preserved, and smaller than Pompeii so it can fully be explored in a few hours! At your request, you may visit this site alongside a Licensed English Speaking Guide. For lunch, you will be chauffeured to a top rated restaurant for a delicious four course lunch before meeting the destructive force that destroyed both Pompeii and Herculaneum: Mount Vesuvius. In the afternoon you will climb up the Volcano, one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. At the top, on a clear day, you will enjoy a stunning view of the coast including Capri and Naples. At the end of this lovely day you will be chauffeured back to your accommodation in Positano.
Day Four: Dropoff Service
