Day four of this Italian Riviera Group Tour takes place in Carrara, home to the world-renowned marble quarries! You will explore this special location on board of a 4×4 vehicle and discover the fascinating landscape while learning everything about the art of marble extraction.

After this unique tour, enjoy a tasty lunch and try the traditional Lardo di Colonnata and other local specialties! Afterward, your group will continue the day visiting the town, where it is possible to watch many marble sculptors at work in their marble workshops. Thanks to them, the marble tradition continues living!

On this day, your morning starts at the Alpemare Beach Club, an exclusive and elegant seaside retreat in Forte dei Marmi, nestled between the Apuan Alps and the Tyrrhenian Sea: here you will have some time to relax by the beach, enjoy local cuisine and taste fine wine.

In the evening, a special event awaits.. In a splendid location near the sea, you will attend a piano concert: some of the most famous and traditional Italian opera pieces will be performed just for you by an opera singer!

Experience day six of this Italian Riviera group tour starting with a pesto cooking class! After creating your own fresh pesto, taste the local wine produced directly from the on-site vineyards and indulge in a lunch composed by local flavors and dishes.

In the afternoon, the day will continue with a guided tour of the charming seaside town of Lerici: explore its picturesque harbors, historic streets, and learn about its rich maritime history, while admiring the stunning landscape over the Gulf of Poets!

Final day in the Italian Riviera: the group will be taken first to the charming village of Santa Margherita, known for its little harbor and colorful houses. Then, the day continues to the glamorous Portofino, that you will reach with a ferry: enjoy here a nice lunch in the seaside and, after a stroll admiring the luxury yachts, it’s time to take the ferry boat to reach a hidden treasure of Ligurian Riviera: San Fruttuoso!

Famous for its historic Abbazia di San Fruttuoso, its reachable only by sea or through a long trekking walk, so this location is truly unique one! At the end of the day, it’s time to go back to our base, La Spezia. Enjoy your last night in the Italian Riviera, before returning to Rome and end this wonderful week.

Buongiorno! After the check out from your hotel in La Spezia, the transfer to Rome begins. As you continue south, the scenic panorama will shift from the coastal towns first, and the hills of the Tuscan countryside later.

The drive towards Rome continues, until you finally reach the Eternal city in the afternoon. Enjoy the evening in the city with a goodbye dinner and prepare for tomorrow’s departure.
