September – October – Puglia Tour 8 Days 

Your Italian adventure begins in Rome, where you will arrive on your own. Upon your arrival, you will have time to relax and settle in before joining the group for a welcome aperitif, followed by a delicious dinner, in a restaurant just next to your hotel.

In this occasion, you will have the opportunity to meet fellow travelers and Great Italy Tour’s team who will greet you with a warm welcome! The evening will offer an introduction to the culinary delights of Italy while building anticipation for the upcoming visit in the Southern Italy. Preparing for a full day ahead, buonanotte!

After breakfast, the transfer from Rome to Puglia starts, with a stop on the way for a lunch break.

Once lunch is concluded, the journey to Puglia continues. Once you arrive, you’ll settle into your 4* Hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner. It’s the perfect introduction to the beauty of this region. Buonanotte!

Buongiorno! After a nice breakfast at your hotel, you will reach a local masseria. The first authentic experience of this group tour will be a Cooking Class near Bari! Learn how to make pasta and then taste a delicious lunch with typical Puglia food.

After a tasty lunch, the group will reach Bari, to do a guided walking tour in the “old town of Bari“. Visit the most important attractions like the Cathedral and walk in the picturesque narrow streets and you will feel like you are back in time. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a delicious dinner.

Buongiorno under the Apulian sun! After breakfast your group tour will continue in Polignano a Mare. Perched on a cliff from where you can see the crystal-clear sea, enjoy a walking tour of the city. Then, it’s time to taste some Apulian food! The group will reach a local restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, your Puglia Tour will proceed with another little jewel of the territory: Monopoli. Here you will explore this small fishing village with a guided tour, before returning to your hotel in Bari. Enjoy dinner with the rest of your group. Buonanotte!

Your next destination for this Puglia Tour will be Alberobello! Visit this city during a guided tour and discover the famous Alberobello Trulli, characteristic of this area. Then your driver will take you to a local masseria where you will enjoy a wine tasting and a relaxing lunch with many local flavors.

After lunch it’s time to discover Ostuni! You will discover the “White City” beauty walking among its white walls and typical streets with a guided tour. As another day of your Puglia Tour comes to an end, it’s time to go back to Bari to have dinner. Buonanotte!

Good morning! On this day, you will visit an Ancient Olive Grove where you will learn about the ancient olive trees and taste some samples of olive oil. Then, it’s time for a tasty lunch with local products!

Once you have finished tasting all the delicious Puglia food, you will go back to your hotel. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon. In the evening, meet again with your group for a tasty dinner and buonanotte!

On the last day of your group tour, you will reach Matera for a full day guided tour! Matera is a city on a rocky outcrop in the region of Basilicata and it includes the Sassi area, a complex of cave dwellings carved into the mountainside. After visiting the center of the city, you will enjoy a tasty lunch.

In the afternoon, the group will reach the Murgia Belvedere, where you will admire the city from the other side of the canyon. As your day tour comes to an end, you will be back at your hotel, where you will have your last dinner of this amazing Puglia Tour.
